Privacy policy

What you add to the app

License details, courses, certificate photos and credential dates you enter are stored on your device. If iCloud is on, they sync through your own iCloud account and are mirrored to a CE Compass folder in the Files app. Redbrook Labs cannot read them. Certificate scanning runs on your device.

Signing in with Apple

Sign in is optional. If you sign in, we keep a minimal account record: Apple's private user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address or relay address. We use it only to run sign-in and to delete your account when you ask.

Rule data and reports

The app downloads published renewal rules from our servers. If you report a rule as wrong, we receive the rule you flagged and your note. We do not need your license number or records for that.

Ads

The free plan shows banner ads from Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads, and the app does not track you across other apps and websites. AdMob may collect device identifiers, coarse usage and diagnostics to serve and measure ads. See Google's ads policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. CE Compass Pro removes ads.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, never your payment details.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only when you scan a certificate. Photos you save stay on your device and in your own iCloud.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete my account. That removes our account record for you. Your records in iCloud and on your device are yours to keep or erase. You can also email support@redbrooklabs.com.

Children

CE Compass is for licensed professionals and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
